Description
A photograph of the Aquidneck Hotel, once located on Pelham Street. Two facades of the hotel are visible; architectural features include a porch supported by Doric and Ionic order columns, woodworked detail along the porch's edge, a balcony, and windows of various sizes with shutters. Five men are seated or standing on the porch near a doorway; a woman and children can be seen at far right beside the building. A carriage is parked beside the hotel at right, and a second building is seen to the left, obscured from view by trees. The hotel is patriotically decorated with American flags draped as bunting across the doorway.
