Description
A glass plate negative depicting a house originally known as Cliff Lawn, but also known as the Cliff Walk Manor and The Chanler Hotel. The house was built between 1870 and 1873; at the time of this plate, several alterations and additions had already been made. Cliff Lawn is situated at far right (the northernmost portion of the Cliff Walk). At foreground, a wall and a snow-covered rocky shoreline are visible. Additional homes and foliage can be seen along the Cliff Walk at left.
