Pairs of horses appear to be assisting with work throughout. Photo is mounted on an album page once owned by Henry O. Havemeyer; Havemeyer is most likely the photographer. Handwritten title on page reads: "The Newport Country Club. New [illegilble word] Holes Under Construction"; page is numbered "47".
