A glass plate negative depicting the interior of the Newport Natural History Society, which once operated in a space owned by the Newport Historical Society on Touro Street (1889-1915). Large glass cases filled with animal specimens line the wall at left; the cases are topped by large bird specimens. Two rows of chairs run the length of the cases; a tag with the number "137" is affixed to the bottom right corner.
