Four Marquetry Side Chairs

18th century

Set of four Dutch Rococo style marquetry side chairs with a serpentine scrolling solid splat inlaid with an urn of flowers topped by a bird. The serpentine shaped drop in seat is covered in yellow silk damask and sits on cabriole legs ending in panelled feet joined by a shaped stretcher and inlaid throughout with foliage.
