Description
Thirty dollar bill of Continental Currency, dated 1777. Top and bottom borders read, "The United Colonies" and the body text reads, "Thirty Dollars. This BILL entitles the Bearer to receive THIRTY Spanish milled DOLLARS, or the value thereof in Gold or Silver, according to a Resolution of Congress, passed at Baltimore, February 26, 1777." Also on bill is round emblem featuring a wreath on a pedestal with the words, "Si Recte Facies" atop it.
