Description
A WALNUT SIDE CHAIR WITH A GREEN HARATEEN UPHOLSTERED SLIP SEAT (Anglo-Irish, circa 1740). A transitional Queen Anne type chair with a bowed crest with saddle center above a solid fiddle-shaped spoon back splat, serpentine back supports with ram's horn terminals, slip-seat, scalloped skirt, cabriole front legs terminating in paneled slipper feet, flat serpentine stretchers, square chamfered flaring back legs.
