A SUITE OF 17TH CENTURY INSPIRED LOUIS XIV STYLE FURNITURE (French, 19th century) completely covered and upholstered with dark red stamped velvet in a floral design, trimmed with dark red tape and fringe tacked on with decorative gold-metal studs. The suite is based on a Louis XIV chair shown in the background of a coronation scene in the tapestry series: "L'histoire du Roi." The suite is eleven pieces in total, comprising:
