Description
A WALNUT VARGUENO ON STAND (Spanish, 17th century). The upper part has a fall-front opening to disclose twelve drawers and is fitted at the sides with gilded iron carrying handles. The stand has a lobed frieze and chamfered square legs on trestle feet joined by a stretcher. Decorated overall in Mudejar style with ivory and colored woods in small geometric patterns.
