Description
Glass plate negative showing The Rocks, located on Ocean Avenue. The estate was built in 1870 for artist Edward Darley Boit and his wife, by architect John Hubbard Sturgis. The house was later owned by Robert B. Potter, and then by Mr. Henry Clews and his wife. Estate was demolished between 1945 and 1950.
