A PATINATED BRONZE REPRESENTING THE UPRAISED HAND OF MISS JANE MARIA HUNT (French, 19th century) after a plaster cast from life by Jane Hunt, Paris 1852. It was executed during Miss Hunt's visit to her brother during his graduation year from the Ecole des Beaux Arts.
The base is inscribed in block letters "Jane M. Hunt\ Paris 1852".
