Description
A Renaissance Revival parcel-gilt and carved oak dining table (French, c. 1900) by Jules Allard & Sons of Paris. The rectangular top features rounded corners above parcel-gilt fluted classical columns repeating in a round arched gallery series and with leonine mask-and-paw carved corner supports over a stretcher base with parcel-gilt foliate reserves. The scrolled feet also have parcel-gilt leaf carving.
