"SEA SICK" (German, dated 1908), an oil on canvas equestrian scene by Emil Franz Adam (German, 1843-1924). The painting depicts a man in a brown suit and bowler hat holding the lead rein of a saddled race horse, the pair stand next to a jockey dressed in white, from the stable of William K. Vanderbilt at Poissy, France. It is signed and dated by the artist on the bottom left corner.
