FRAMED OIL ON CANVAS PORTRAIT OF KING CHARLES I (Flemish, 17th century) after Sir Anthony Van Dyck. The king is depicted in armor, his right hand holding a baton, while the left reposes upon a crystal ball, with rich drapery in the background. The contemporary copy is attributed to Jacob van Oost, the Elder, who was a follower of van Dyck. In an 18th century English carved and stained oak frame.
