ONE SILHOUETTE OF VALENTINE & ELLEN MARIANA MORRIS BY AUGUSTE EDOUART, (French 1789-1861) (American, 1837) featuring a standing cut-out of young lady holding Baron's "The Freewell" rendered in ink on the left and a seated cut-out of gentleman holding pincenez on the right. The script handwriting in ink below the figures reads left to right: "Richard (?) Saunders Aug 1837 / Miss Ellen Mariana Morris / Valentine Morris Esq. / Retreat Battersea Surry 7th Sept. 1837".
