Copy print photograph of Julia Berwind seated with an unidentified woman, and her great-niece-in-law, Jane Brand von Boecklin (later Allen), who married into the family through her first husband, Baron Rupprecht B.L. von Boecklin. Julia was the final owner of The Elms, having inherited the home upon the death of her brother, Edward Julius, in 1936. Photograph is part of a series documenting the 1938 visit of Jane Brand von Boecklin to Julia Berwind at The Elms.
