Photograph showing the breakfast room at The Elms. The walls in this room are paneled with lacquer panels -- three black and gold Chinese lacquer panels from the K'ang Hsi Period, c. 1662-1722, and three matching overdoors and a wall panel from the workshops of Jules Allard & Sons of Paris. A square table is set in the center of the room, surrounded by four chairs and set atop a dragon-patterned rug. A marble fireplace sits beside the table, with a gilded mirror set above it.
