Notation on verso reads "The Great Hall, The Breakers, Ochre Point Avenue, Newport, R.I. The Great Hall rises over forty-five feet through two full floors. The grand staircase divides at the landing and rises in a graceful sweep to the upper level. "The Breakers," built for Cornelius Vanderbilt in 1895, is opened to visitors under the auspices of The Preservation Society of Newport. Guided tours - Admission charge. (Richard Cheek, Photo)"
