The famous topiary gardens of the late Miss Alice Brayton include 80 sculptured trees and shrubs depicting various animals, rose arbors, formal flower beds, fruit and vegetable gardens, a pet cemetery and Victorian toy museum. Green Animals is opened to visitors under the auspices of The Preservation Society of Newport. Admission charge. (Richard Cheek, Photo)"
