Description
A COAT OF ARMS PIN (British, c. 1941) decorated with a gold lion at center surrounded by white enamel, and with blue, white, and red enamel designed like ribbon coming out from behind the coat of arms. Surrounding the lion is the French phrase "Dieu et Mon Droit" ("God and My Right"). On the reverse the pin is stamped "Official BWRS and BB by Accessocraft." This pin was produced by the costume jewelry manufacturer Accessocraft to be sold by the British War Relief Society (BWRS) to raise funds for the humanitarian organization during World War II.
