Description
A RUMBLE SEAT SLEIGH (American, 19th century) by Brewster & Co, NY. It is painted in Vanderbilt livery with the monogram "CV" on the sides. The side-by side passenger seats are upholstered in green Melton cloth, with leather-covered seat cushions and padded armrests. The front has a wire mesh dash and the rear has a single rumble seat, also upholstered in green Melton cloth, with a removable cushion. There is a single shaft for two horses.
