Description
There is a boarder of cabbage rose and trailing vines in brown, rose, yellow, gold and greens. The central field is a family record sewn in moss colored thread reading "Family Record/Eleazer L. Cook & Elizabeth Peirson were married January 2 - 1823/Eleazar L. Cook was born December 10th 1793/Elizabeth Peirson was born May 29th 1796/William P. Cook was born November 2nd 1823/Martha E. Cook was born December 21st 1826/Nehmiah B. Cook was born December 8th 1829/Edward H. Cook was born September 11th 1833/Edward H. Cook died March 30th 1834." The signature "Martha E. Cook/Aged 10 years" is stitched along the bottom within a blue, yellow, green, and brown floral vine oval. This oval is flanked on either side by yellow, green, and gold birdcages.
