Description
A PORCELAIN BASKET (Hungarian, 1915-1930) by Herend, Hungary. The tapered, square body sits on four feet. The sides are double walled, with the exterior layer bearing a pierced/lattice design of flowers, the interior walls are white with painted flowers, and the rim is done in blue with a gilded edge. It is stamped on the underside with the Herend maker’s mark of a crowned armorial shield.
