Rectangular Silver Toast Rack

RECTANGULAR SILVER TOAST RACK (American, 19th century) by Tiffany & Co., N.Y., with a square frame and four divisions for toast. It sits on four spreading square feet, has a decorative scrolling design around the base, a protruding shell design on each side of the base at center, and is topped with a flat oval handle designed to look like ears of wheat. It is stamped on the underside "Tiffany & Co. Quality 925 1000 2681 0621 Union Square."
