TWO SILHOUETTES OF THE BARCLAY FAMILY OF NEW YORK (American, dated August 25, 1840) by Augustin Amant Constant Fidèle Edouart (French, 1789-1861). Miss M. A. Barclay is shown standing on the left, Mrs. George Barclay sits in a chair at center holding a book, and Mr. George Barclay stands on the right. Along the bottom it is inscribed "Saratoga Springs 25th August. 1840."
