Description
A SET OF FOUR PORCELAIN EPERGNES OR STANDS (English, 19th century) by Copeland, Stoke-on-Trent. Each has a classical half-nude male and female biscuit porcelain figure seated against a glazed columnar stem. The bodies of the epergnes are glazed and decorated with gilding. The bowl on the top has an open lattice design. The base is decorated with raised foliate designs, garlands, and female faces.
