Description
ONE YELLOW PORCELAIN TEAPOT (German, mid - late 19th century) by the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory, Dresden and retailed by Stickney’s Wedgwood Store, New Brunswick, Canada. The teapot has a white and gilt border around its opening rim, spout, handle, and lid. The body of the teapot is yellow and decorated with a large floral motif with flowers in purple, blue, and red. The lid of the teapot is also yellow with a floral motif and has an applied small purple rose bud as a handle. The underside is marked with two crossed blue swords and has an adhered sticker from the retailer.
