Description
A BRONZE TEMPLE BELL (Chinese, 17th century) decorated with calligraphy and a dragon done in raised relief on the body, foliate bands encircle the top and the bottom, incised pendant shapes descend from the top band. The handle is molded in a cloud form shape. It is suspended from a large iron support loop that continues down into the basement to support the weight of the bell.
