BLACK LACQUER TEA CHEST (Chinese, 19th century) with two side handles and a hinged lid with "D. King Jr." written in gold lettering on the top. The exterior lid opens to reveal an interior tin lid stamped with a Chinese scene of three male figures in a landscape and has an ivory knob handle, this lid opens to a tin lined compartment. The tea chest has an English made exterior lock.
