Description
A LARGE PORCELAIN MUG (Italian, c. 1830-1890) attributed to the Doccia Porcelain Manufactory, Italy. The interior of the mug is gold, wrapping around the body is a raised relief scene in multiple colors featuring nude and robed women dancing to music in a garden/landscape scene while two men watch, the handle is in the form of a winged nude sea nymph, the base is slightly flared and decorated with a pink, green, and yellow floral pattern. It is marked on the underside in blue with a five pointed cornet over the letter "N."
