Description
A RECTANGULAR JAPONESQUE PORCELAIN VASE (English, 1877) by the Royal Worcester Porcelain Company, England. The vase has a dark blue ground with overlapping medallions in gold, some with flat geometric designs, and others with enameled raised floral designs of plants and ferns. On either side of the vase there are two simulated ring handles held in the mouths of raised dragon/lion faces in gold. The vase stands on four feet. The underside is marked with the Royal Worcester Porcelain Company’s mark, beneath the standard mark is the letter "M" to indicate 1877 as the date of manufacture.
