Description
A Louis XV style white-painted window seat (American, late 19th century) designed by Ogden Codman, Jr. (American, 1863-1951) and attributed to the manufacturer A. H. Davenport Co., Boston and East Cambridge, MA. The window seat has a molded frame, scrolled seat ends, and stands on four cabriole legs carved at the knees with foliate decoration. The seat and ends are upholstered in a floral beige cretonne fabric.
