A Louis XVI Style white-painted chaise longue (American, late 19th century) designed by Ogden Codman, Jr. (American, 1863-1951) and attributed to the manufacturer A. H. Davenport Co., Boston and East Cambridge, MA. The chaise has a shaped back, padded armrests, lose cushion, and end supports upholstered in a floral beige cretonne fabric. It stands on four fluted, round, tapered legs with cylindrical feet.
