Description
A MAHOGANY AND BRASS TRIMMED TWO-TIERED STAND (French, 19th century) with a drum shaped cupboard base. The circular flat top is surrounded by a pierced brass gallery. The top tier is supported by a central fluted columnar support that connects to the second tier. The round top of the second tier is also encircled by a brass gallery edge. The ribbed door of the cupboard slides open to revel the interior. The stand is supported by three fluted legs with bronze arrow feet.
