A PATINATED BRONZE MODEL OF THE BORGHESE GLADIATOR (Italian, 19th century) after Agasias of Ephesos. Currently in the collection of the Louvre, the "Borghese Gladiator" or "Fighting Warrior" is widely considered the aesthetic model of the male nude in motion.
