Description
A CLUB CHAIR (French, late 19th century) from the workshops of Jules Allard and Sons. The fully upholstered chair is covered in yellow silk damask, which matches the walls of the Guest Sitting Room on the 2nd floor of Marble House. It has a high rectangular back and scrolled armrests. A gold tassel fringe hangs from the bottom of the seat rail. The four chair legs end in casters.
