PAIR OF TERRA COTTA BUSTS OF A BOY AND A GIRL (French, 19th century) modeled after the busts of the Brongniart children by Jean-Antoine Houdon (French, 1741-1828). The bust of the girl (.1) is styled with bare shoulders and her hair swept up in a bun secured by a ribbon, the bust of the boy (.2) is styled with unkempt hair and drapery about the shoulders.
