A PAIR OF GLAZED TERRACOTTA BUSTS OF A YOUNG GIRL AND BOY (French, c. 1900) modeled after the bust of the Brongniart children by Jean-Antoine Houdon (French, 1741-1828). The young girl (.1) is depicted with her gaze directed to the right, her shoulders are bare and her hair is swept up and tied with a ribbon. The boy (.2) wears an open chemise and looks down.
