Description
A pair of andirons (French, 19th century) surmounted by patinated bronze cherubs. Modeled after a 1770 version by the French sculptor Philippe Caffieri (1714-1774). These andirons previously belonged to Mrs. Vanderbilt’s granddaughter Muriel Vanderbilt.
