A LOUIS XVI WALNUT WRITING TABLE (French, 18th century) with two front drawers surrounding the kneehole. Bronze mounts decorate the keyholes of the drawers. The top is fitted with a stamped leather writing surface. The table is supported by four unadorned tapered legs.
