Description
A SMALL WALNUT COMMODE (French, late19th century) from the workshops of Jules Allard and Sons. The shaped colored marble top is surrounded by a low pierced gallery around three sides. The body of the commode is decorated with geometric marquetry and foliate gilt-brass mounts. The commode stands on four fluted tapered legs that end in cast sabots.
