Description
A PAIR OF BRONZE CANDLESTICKS (French, 19th century) after 17th century Italian originals. The candle cups lead to tapered columnar supports with acanthus leaves around the bottom. The bases are decorated with raised cherub masks and stand on three ball and claw feet. The top of the base is stamped 1653.
