Description
An American silver porringer (Newport, c. 1810) made by William Stoddard Nichols (American, 1785-1871). The circular bowl has a pierced trefoil handle monogrammed "HRM" in script. The concave base and handle are struck with a rectangular hallmark of "Nichols."
