A pair of Chinese Imari pattern plates (Chinese, c. 1780), painted in tones of underglaze blue, iron-red, salmon and gold with a central design of structures/pavilions on land next to a body of water, mountains can be seen in the distance. The rims of the plates are decorated with cluster of lotus and chrysanthemums.
