A pair of Chinese Export Imari plates (Chinese, 18th century), painted at center with flowering tree peonies growing from behind rockwork in the characteristic Imari tones of iron-red and under-glaze blue against a white ground. Three floral sprays decorate the rim, and a thin-blue band borders the inner and outer rim.
