Description
A Chinese Export famille-rose plate (Chinese, c. 1765), with clusters of floral sprays and fruit, including pomegranates and Buddha’s hand citron, around the rim. An iron-red spearhead border decorates the inner rim. The center is painted with decorative objects, such as floral filled vases and planters, against a white ground. The center motif is called bo gu qing gong tu (薄谷清工图) or simplly qing gong tu (清宫图).
