Description
A thirty one piece partial tea service (English, c. 1800) manufactured by the Chamberlain Worcester porcelain factory. The set includes an oval teapot, lidded sugar bowl, creamer, waste bowl, ten saucers, eight teacups, six coffee cups, two cake plates, and an oval tray. Each piece has a white ground with cobalt-blue bands of gilded flowers and floral sprays near the rim or top. One cake plate is marked with an iron-red underglaze script mark reading "Chamberlains Wor'ster" and pattern number "345."
