Description
A pair of Chinese Export beaker vases (Chinese, c. 1795) of tall cylindrical shape with a flared necks. Each is painted with a shield bearing the gilt script initials "SC", the shield is surrounded by blue enamel and gold ermine mantling and drapery. The sides of the vases are decorated with scattered bouquets and floral sprigs in iron-red and gold. The interior rims have a border of fruit and floral garlands in iron-red and gold.
