Description
An American slipware pie plate (Pennsylvania, 18th century) of circular shape with a crimped pie crust edge, the redware body is decorated with three groups of three wavy bands of cream/yellow tinted slip and covered in a clear lead glaze. The reverse is partially blackened from the firing process and unglazed.
