Description
A glazed redware jug and cover (American, likely Pennsylvania, late 19th century), the body is slightly bell shaped with a strap handle, everted rim, and pinched spout. The dark redware body is covered in a caramel color lead glaze with black streaking. The round cover has a cushion knob and is covered in a slightly lighter glaze.
